Using Pacific Electronics 3 wire intercom system, installation time is greatly reduced, making it very cost effective.
Pacific Electronics 3 wire apartment intercom system is not, however, recommended for building with more than 30 units or when 4, 5, 6 wires are available.
3404 Pacific Four Wire Intercom system is designed for upgrading existing systems and for new construction up to 100 apartments with just four wires. In new construction, the four-wire system is the best choice for high-quality, low-maintenance. 3161 Pacific Electronics Telephone Handset Intercom system is a high quality and cost-effective system for any retrofit or new construction project. This system uses a telephone handset in each apartment to communicate with the building entrance. Because of its simplicity, we recommend this system for handicapped and senior citizen housing. System Operation: The visitor pushes the appropriate button on the lobby panel to call the tenant’s apartment. Picking up the handset establishes two-way communication between the tenant and visitor. The tenant uses to door button on the handset to allow the visitor to enter the building.
3311HC Pacific Apartment Intercom Station with red lamp for the Hearing Impaired. The Pacific Hearing-Impaired System provides a visual indication in an apartment when a visitor calls from the building entrance. The 3311 HC is designed to alert hearing impaired people that a visitor is in the lobby. Two additional lights can be installed for a bedroom, den or kitchen (see FC3022 Dome/Flasher). A visitor initiates a call to an apartment by pressing the corresponding button on the lobby panel. A light on the apartment station and/or dome lights will flash for 15 seconds, alerting the tenant that a visitor is in the lobby. The tenant uses the talk and listen buttons on the apartment station to communicate and the door button to allow the visitor into the building. After 15 seconds, the light will turn off automatically whether the call is answered.
3399 Pacific Apartment Station with Emergency Pull Cord. The 3399 apartment station have the same intercom operation as either the 3406 or 2101 stations but have the integral emergency pull cord. The emergency mode allows a tenant in distress to sound the alert for help and/or voice communication with the manager. The 3399 station has momentary action push buttons with face plate marked talk, listen and door. The emergency pull cord activates the emergency switch by pulling on the floor length cord with pendant to sound the emergency alert.
